The City will remove city owned trees and branches that fall on public or private property. Privately owned fallen trees and branches are the responsibility of the private property owner. It is unlawful for any person to falsely report a fire except for an actual or threatened fire. If you are aware of a false alarm, please contact the Fire Department.

The City Fire Department may answer calls to property outside the corporate limits. The Fire Chief has the right of refusal of such calls when they jeopardize the safety or welfare of property within the City. For more information contact the Fire Department.

Residential garbage collection is mandatory within the City. The hobo (garbage container) should be by the curb no earlier than 5:00 a.m. on the day of regular collection.
